The Charleston Youth Council is hosting the first ever Student Photo Contest. We’re asking middle and high school aged students of Kanawha County to tell us what they’ve learned to appreciate the most over the course of the Coronavirus Pandemic through the lens of a camera.
To be eligible for entry, the student must be entering grades 6-12 in the 2020-2021 school year and be attending public, private, alternative, or home school. Submissions from students entering grades 6-8 will be judged separately from submissions from students entering grades 9-12.
Winners will be determined by a panel of Charleston Youth Council members and notified by Thursday, August 6th, 2020. Winning submissions will be displayed on CYC social media pages and recognized by Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin!
Submissions must be made through the Google Forms Survey linked below. The deadline for entry is Monday, July 6th, 2020 at 11:59 pm. Email the Charleston Youth Council at [email protected] with any questions, comments or concerns.
