The GWHS Quiz Bowl Team received their trophy for their first place win at the inaugural WV Academic Showdown at the State Capital on March 25, 2022. Team members Reese Mason, Patrick Ward, Miles Krompecher, Claire Kosky, and Joseph Chapman went undefeated winning the grand prize of $10,000 for the Quiz Bowl program.
