GWHS Receives the West Virginia College and Career Transition Award

George Washington High School has been selected as the West Virginia College and Career Transition Award recipient. The award is given by the 2016-17 ACT College and Career Readiness Campaign to the school for its outstanding work to prepare students for college and career.  As the high school exemplar, GWHS will receive a banner and recognition certificate and will move forward in the consideration process for national recognition. A short ceremony honoring this award will be held in Charleston in May (more details to be announced).
