The purpose of Young Democrats is to encourage youth involvement in the Democratic Party, to instill in young people the values for which the Democratic Party stands, and to provide young people with the skills and experiences they will need to lead our nation.


Join Young Democrats

Joining YDA will give you the opportunity to participate in the legislative and campaign process. Young Democrats receive first-hand experience in campaigns and elections, grassroots organizing, fundraising, and candidate elective office. Many of the Democratic Party's leaders started in politics with YDA. If you would like to join, see any officer for a registration form.
