AP Studio Art is a class that was established this year by Mrs. Turner for her student Caitlin Chaney. Caitlin is the only student in this class, which is divided into three main sections. These are quality, concentration, and breadth. The quality section should represent her best works in one particular medium, which is the preference of the artist. Caitlin has chosen colored pencils as her medium. The concentration section is where the artist has to create 12 works that show a repetition on theme using different mediums. Caitlin has chosen to do self-portraits using every kind of medium, from paper cut-outs to oil paints. The final section is breadth, which is a category that includes pieces that are unconventional and with special mediums, such as clay and fabric. Below are some of the completed pieces.
